PDA Compliance

Here at Swine And Dandy we strive to meet the needs of all pigs. Thus, we are obligated to meet the needs of all pigs covered under the Pigs with Disabilities Act.  Ok, so we made up the Pigs with Disabilities Act, but that doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t exist!  Lilac, a recurring customer, has a very difficult time getting around with congenitive arthritis. It is easier for us and her and safer too to have a small enclosure that she can be in to eat while all the other pigs are out in the yard as well.  It is close to the house, and it has a gate and a gently sloping ramp. There is also another gate on the ground level so that she can go out into the yard when it’s her turn to have yard time.  As you can tell, our current boarder, Izzy, gives it the squeal of approval!
