Uneventful “winter storm” a flop. Yard on the other hand is a veritable wallow…

Our magnificent ice storm was nothing more than some rain. Goods news!? Not so much. Now our yard is more mud than grass. We have been working feverishly on growing grass in the yard, which until we moved in was grossly overgrown and dead in many places. Until the lush turf is restored we deal with “mud season.” Pet owners know this all too well. Mud season around here is in full gear only when the amount of mud tracked in the house is substantial enough to create a distinct path between the pig door and the piggy bedroom and every room between. It is great incentive for us to work on getting the grass to grow!
