Hoof Trimming

Today we trimmed Lilacs hooves.  Her mom and dad drove for all the way from the east side of Michigan to have her nails done. She was a good girl, and noisy as usual.

People often pay close attention to how long the toes are getting, but the dew claws are just as important.

Here you can see a before and after shot of her bottom feet.

The after shot is not the “done” shot.  We still cleaned up the dew claws and touched up the toes a bit.
